Product Description
CropWalker DMS (Data Management System) is an enterprise database
solution enabling the consolidation, analysis and reporting of any data captured
directly or imported from any number of CropWalker crop management systems.
CropWalker DMS offers comprehensive analysis of field/crop performance, product
use and financial information for improved business planning and management. Influencing
factors such as variety, soil type, application timings and operation types can
be used in comparing crop performance while valuable product use information can
be extracted from a vast pool of data at the click of a button.
An automatic import/export routine ensures the data in CropWalker DMS is always
current and provides 'live' visibility on crop status, product use and user activity.
FDS Module
The optional FDS (Field Data Sheet) module, when plugged into
CropWalker DMS, adds data capture functionality to its existing consolidation, analysis
and reporting capability. This module facilitates the capture of essential farm
data that could not be captured through CropWalker, e.g. farms with no computer
system, or where the area grown does not justify a full crop recording system. Information
from Field Data Sheets completed on farm is entered directly into CropWalker DMS
through this module.
Compliance with Pesticide Legislation
All crop records held in CropWalker DMS (either imported from
CropWalker, or entered directly through the FDS) can be checked against standard
pesticide legislation through the automatic audit facility. In addition to ensuring
the approved use of chemicals for the local industry, protocols that advise on more
specific restrictions and usage of chemicals based on end user or country requirements,
can also be audited against.
Building Blocks
CropWalker DMS is also the base upon which the Muddy Boots Produce Manager
system is built. This means that other modules in the Produce Manager range can
easily be plugged into DMS to provide a complete food chain management solution.
