How do I send a 'New FM Data File'?
1. Click on the ‘Menu’ button
2. Click on the + symbol next to ‘Data Exchange’
3. Click on the ‘Create Export Files’ option
4. Select ‘New FM Data File’ under the ‘Export Types’ area
5. Click the farm name in the ‘Available Farmers’ area
6. Click the ‘Export’ button
7. When it has finished creating the export file click the ‘Mailbox’ button to go to
the Cropwalker ‘Mailbox - Outbox’
8. Make sure the mail details are correct here then click the farmers name box under
the ‘To’ area
9. Click the ‘Send’ button and how you want to send the data through email, via a floppy
disk or as a file located on the PC
How do I send a data update to a farmer/agronomist?
1. Click on the ‘Menu’ button
2. Click on the + symbol next to ‘Data Exchange’
3. Click on the ‘Create Export Files’ option
4. Select ‘Export To Agronomist’ (for a FM system) or ‘FM Data Export’ (for agronomist
systems) under the ‘Export Types’ area
Click the farm name in the ‘Available Farmers’ area
5. Optionally you can use the ‘Export Data From Fields Drilled After:’ to enter a date
and only records entered after this date will be exported
6. Click the ‘Export’ button
7. When it has finished creating the export file click the ‘Mailbox’ button to go to
the Cropwalker ‘Mailbox - Outbox’
8. Make sure the mail details are correct here then click the agronomists name box
under the ‘To’ area
9. Click the ‘Send’ button and how you want to send the data through email, via a floppy

How do I import an export file?
1. Click on the ‘Menu’ button
2. Click on the + symbol next to ‘Data Exchange’
3. Click on the ‘Mailbox – Inbox’ option In the ‘From’ area you will see the name of
the person the file is from next to a tick box.
To import the file place a tick in this box
4. When ready click the button labelled ‘Import’ and Cropwalker will import the data
from the file updating the records in Cropwalker
How do I import a 'New FM Data File'?
1. Double click on the ‘New Fm Data File’ and it will give a message saying ‘Are You
Sure You Wish To Overwrite The Data?’ as this does not update Cropwalker with new
records but replaces the existing data with all the data that the agronomist holds
on that farm
